Meteor Makes an Impact on the National Mall

If you go to the Solar Decathlon this year, you will undoubtedly see a number of Meteor Solar LED's products. If you count closely enough, you will find 175 Meteor solar LED lights. There will be 35 of each red, white and blue lights, 105 lights in total, installed on the main thoroughfare of the National Mall. In order to have our lights installed on the nation's most famous thoroughfare, our lights had to undergo rigorous testing by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Our lights passed these tests with flying colors.

Partner Teams

The remaining lights can be found in the homes of three Solar Decathlon teams we partnered with Team California, Penn State, and Rice University. Team California's Refract House is using 18 of Meteor's SH-180C brick lights and 26 SH-200C circular ground lights. Rice University's Ze-Row uses eight SH-200C lights, and Penn State's NaturalFusion features six SH-170C paver lights and 12 SH-180C brick lights.
